Towing FAQ’s

-How long will it take for the wrecker to reach me?

Our average ETA’s are about an hour. In high volume times it can be up to an hour and a half. When you call and request a tow you will be given an HONEST ETA. If we are running late we will call and notify you.

-Doesn’t my car need a flatbed?

Most vehicles do not require a flatbed. The types of cars that require them are all-wheel drive cars and cars that are extremely low to the ground. We utilize wheel-lift wreckers that only touch the rubber on your tires while towing your car. However it is ultimately the customers discretion as to what kind of truck they want sent out. Just be aware that the flatbeds will be extra and the wait times are usually somewhat longer.

-How do I know if a company is properly insured?

All towing companies are supposed to be licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. We are completely in compliance with all the rules and regulations set forth by the state. In fact we carry more insurance that is required by the State. You can check a company’s status by clicking here. Also keep in mind that some lower priced towing services only carry the minimum insurance required by the State. These companies are only insured for the actual tow truck, not the car that is being towed. So if something were to happen while in transit then your insurance would have to fix the damage.

-What areas do you serve?

We service Houston and the surrounding areas.

-When I call will I get an exact price?

When you call have the address where you car is at and where you want to take it. Our highly trained dispatchers will ask you several questions to determine the exact situation. After that they will tell you EXACTLY how much the tow will be. You don’t have to worry about the price changing in the middle of the tow.
